the most embarrassing conversation i had so far in smu...
background info: i just formed my twc (tech & world change) project group the day before this happened.
*shu hua queues up to buy food next to a guy* *guy turns around and waves* guy: "hey!" shu: *gives bewildered look* "huh?" guy: "i remember your name, it's..erm..wait shu smth.." shu: *desperately tries to recall where she has met him* guy: "oh yes, shu hwwwa right!? " shu: "erm yes..sorry you are?" guy: "oh, i'm your twc group mate..?" *awkward silence* shu: *eyes widen in shock* "..OH YES yes sorry sorry hi hi."
way to go shu hua. =(
APART from that,
they look extremely friendly, don't they. haha.
well it's been 2 weeks of uni life and im officially still ALIVE! *claps* haha all the readings, ongoing and upcoming projects, soon-to-be-due assignments, unexpected pop quizzes, not to mention all the misc events happening in smu. it's hard not to be overwhelmed by all of the things that's going on. but i'm thankful for the little things that kept me going for the past 2 weeks. im actually pretty thankful that i chose social science. i realise it's really a place where i'm comfortable in; where my random thoughts on human life are not stifled and are in fact, POINTS for discussion. :D its cool to be able to express thoughts (rather) freely and not be condemned for thinking too much because you are in fact, EXPECTED to think like much much.
well no matter what, it's too early to conclude about anything at this moment (not even 2 years, only 2 weeks!), so i guess i'm content being where i am right now. i love observing the world. (:
it's really interesting when you take a step back from all the happenings of the world. you'd realise so much more about the world and yourself.
